DEER STEW EIKTYRNE

Eiktyrne was in Norse mythology a deer that grazed on the roof of Vallhalla together with the goat Heidrun. They grazed from the branches of Yggdrasil, the tree of life. From the horns of Eiktyrne water drops driped into the well Kverngjelme, which laid under the roots of Yggdrasil, and was the source of several rivers.
